The Gramicci Pants are the cornerstone of our range. Introduced in the 1980s and fine-tuned over decades, they’re what cemented our reputation for building functional gear with movement in mind. Versatile and flexible, they were created to meet the demands of the fast, nimble climbers that were tackling Yosemite’s most coveted ascents at that time. 

Bringing together this much-loved design and Rab's own technical expertise, the Gramicci x Rab Gramicci Pants have been engineered with a synthetic fabric. We’ve selected a hardwearing, midweight softshell for the job, incorporating some of the same DNA as Rab's toughest hiking pants.  

The result? These are classic year-round climbing pants, combining the G-Pant’s signature freedom of movement and comfy relaxed fit with rugged durability and breathable, wicking performance. The robust fabric gives the abrasion resistance you need for brushing up against rock, while the fast-drying, weather-resistant properties and DWR are ideal for the changeable conditions so often found in the UK. Lightweight and adaptable, the Gramicci x Rab G-Pants are as at home on sun-soaked Californian boulders as they are on Peak District grit.
